Admission Procedure
M.Sc in Hospitality Administration
Fill Up Online Application Form for appearing in NCHM JEE examination conducted by National testing Agency (NTA) and NCHMCT from www.nchmcounselling.nic.in (Registrations Open) The entrance examination is a Computer Based Test conducted at designated Centres. Admission to the M.Sc course is through two rounds of Online Counselling process. Candidate is allotted Institute based on the AIR in Entrance Result Card. Provisional Admission Letter is generated for all eligible candidates by end of Counselling process. All candidates who have received Provisional Admission Letter through online counseling process finally report at their allotted Institutes in the last week of July followed by Commencement of Classes. Hostel facility is available for outstation candidates.
B.Sc in Hospitality & Hotel Administration

Admission for Diploma Programme
Admission Forms can be obtained from Institute Admission Counter from 1st week of May. The candidate can also download the Admission form from Institutewebsite www.ihmbhopal.ac.in or mail at [email protected].
Candidates can submit the filled Application Form with form fees and copy of 10th marksheet, 12 th marksheet, age proof, category certificate in Admission Office . Admission Confirmation is provided to candidates who have successfully completed document verification and fee payment process. Classes commence from last week of July.
Admission for Certificate and Craftsmanship Programme
Admission Forms can be obtained from Institute Admission Counter from 1st week of May. The candidate can also download the Admission form from Institute website www.ihmbhopal.ac.in or mail at [email protected].
Candidates can submit the filled Application Form with form fees and copy of 10th marksheet, age proof, category certificate in Admission Office. Admission Confirmation is provided to candidates who have successfully completed document verification and fee payment process. Classes commence from last week of July.
Eligibility Criteria
M.Sc.Hospitality and Hotel Administration Course

Admission to the M.Sc course is through two rounds of Online Counselling process. Candidate is allotted Institute based on the AIR obtained in Entrance Exam Result Card. Provisional Admission Letter is generated for all eligible candidates by end of Counselling process. All candidates who have received Provisional Admission Letter through online counseling process finally report at their allotted Institutes in the last week of July.
Admission Criteria:
- All India Entrance Examination (Computer Based Test)followed by Online Centralized Counselling.
- Graduation in any discipline including Hospitality.
- Reservation policy as per Government of India norms.
- There is no age bar to get admission in the M.Sc. HA Program.
- Candidates appearing in the final semester/final year exam (but passed all the papers in all earlier semesters/years) of the Graduation and able to submit their complete Bachelor’s Degree latest by 31st October 2026 can also apply.
DIRECT ADMISSION:
Direct admission is provided to the candidates who are having two- years or more working experience in 3-star and above rated hotel industry (Industrial training which is part of Degree not to be counted as working experience) after passing the Degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from NCHMCT-IGNOU; OR Bachelors Degree in Hotel Management from a recognized University and the Institute is approved by AICTE by securing 55% or more aggregate marks. Such candidates are not required to appear in M.Sc. JEE 2026 for admission to the program.
Commencement of Classes: Last week of July. (Hostel facility available)
B.Sc.Hospitality and Hotel Administration Course

Provisional Admission Letter is generated for all eligible candidates by end of Counselling process. All candidates who have received Provisional Admission Letter through online counseling process finally report at their allotted Institutes in the last week of July followed by Commencement of Classes.
Admission Criteria:
- All India Entrance Examination(Computer Based Test)followed by Online Centralized Counselling.
- Candidate must have English as one of the subjects in Class 12th.
- Reservation policy as per Government of India norms.
- AGE NO BAR.
- Vegetarian Option for practicals is available.
Commencement of Classes: Last week of July. (Hostel facility available)
Certificate, Craftsmanship and Diploma Programme
Admission Forms can be purchased from Institute Admission Counter from 1st week of May. The candidate can also send a request mail at [email protected]. Candidates can submit the filled Application Form with form fees and copy of 10th mark sheet, 12th mark sheet, age proof, category certificate in Admission Office. Provisional Admission is provided to candidates who have successfully completed document verification and first semester fee payment process.
Admission Criteria:
- First Come First Serve Basis.
- Candidate must have English as one of the subjects in10th (for Certificate and Craftsmanship Course) and 12th (Diploma Course)
- Reservation policy as per Government of India norms
- AGE NO BAR.
Commencement of Classes: Last week of July (Hostel facility available)
Diploma programme
The diploma program equips students in the basic areas of specialization and institutes to provide hands-on training to students in the institute kitchens and laboratories. For a student to be eligible to apply for the Diploma Programme, he needs to fulfill the following criteria:
- Candidate should be 10 +2 Pass with English as a subject
